A premium limited plastic kit of the British Hawker Tempest Mk.II fighter in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. The richly equipped edition The Ultimate Tempest contains photo-etched parts, painting masks, a large number of color schemes and an accompanying pictorial book on the type.
The Tempest Mk.II was the development peak of the Tempest line — unlike the Mk.V version with its H-block Napier Sabre, it was powered by the powerful radial Bristol Centaurus. It took only a marginal part in the fighting of the Second World War and became famous above all for its postwar service with the RAF and in the air forces of India and Pakistan.
Make use of the photo-etched parts on the details of the cockpit, which should be finished before you close the fuselage; mask the canopy glazing with the masks enclosed. Given the large number of schemes, choose the markings in advance. Paint with an airbrush over a primer, with a clear coat under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
