Tin trash can 1:48 (Firma49)

A model of a modern tin trash can with a lid in 1:48 scale. It is a standalone decorative accessory for a diorama or a scene, not a kit of a vehicle. Printed by SLA from modeling resin; even in this small scale the part keeps a clean shape and the detail of the sheet metal.

Use and tips

  • Dip the part briefly in hot water before removing the supports.
  • Cut the print supports away and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection.
  • Glue it with cyanoacrylate (superglue).
  • Metallic shades, rust and grime applied with washes and pigments bring the trash can to life.

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
