A set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals for the detailed treatment of the pilot's cabin of a model of the UH-1N Twin Huey helicopter in 1:48 scale. The decals are printed on a flexible film with real depth. They typically hold the instrument panel, the overhead and side panels, consoles and the seat belts. The color print replaces the laborious painting of small dials.
The Bell UH-1N Twin Huey is the twin-engine variant of the legendary Huey family. Against the single-engine versions it offers higher performance and reliability; it served with a number of armed forces, among others with the US Army, the US Marine Corps and the US Air Force for transport, liaison and support.
Degrease the surface first. Cut out the individual elements, take them off the backing layer and transfer them into place with tweezers, then press them down. The film will stand a mild shaping into rounded surfaces. The fine dials do not have to be touched up with paint.
The set holds interior decals only. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
