Universal rib tapes, type A: Second World War era 1:48 (Quinta Studio)

A set of colored 3D decals in 1:48 scale for imitating the tapes over the ribs on the fabric surfaces of Second World War aircraft. On the real machines these were tapes stretched and doped over the ribs of the rudders, elevators and fabric parts of the wings. The decals have fine raised relief, so once applied they stand out on the surface. The version is universal; the tapes are cut to the length needed and can be used on any model of the era.

Use

• Apply them only over the finished base color of the surface.
• Cut the tapes and place them according to the position of the ribs.
• Pressing them down with a cotton swab makes the decal settle onto the surface better.
• Finish with an evening clear varnish.

For modelers of Second World War aircraft with fabric surfaces who want faithful tapes without laboriously raising them with putty.

This is a modeling accessory, not an aircraft kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
