The American 2.5-ton 6x6 truck was one of the main supply vehicles of the Allies in the Second World War. A range of special bodies was built on its chassis, including the airfield fuel tanker, which supplied aircraft with fuel directly on the airfields. Drive to all three axles gave the vehicle high mobility off road, and the tanker form became an inseparable part of the support of Allied airfields.
First assemble and paint the chassis and the cab interior, and only then finish the tanker body and the hose reel. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Apply primer and the paints with an airbrush, apply the decals over a gloss coat and bring out the recesses with a wash. Mud and dust pigments on the chassis will give the vehicle a faithful airfield patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
