This is an accessory set of small personal gear in 1:48 scale, not a model. The castings of American field bottles suit anywhere a scene is meant to look lived in: on the belt of a figure, among the load on a vehicle, or simply set aside on a box. The 1:48 scale is common with aircraft as well as with vehicles and figures, so the accessory will find a use in both worlds.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water, otherwise the mold release agent will keep the paint from adhering. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a scalpel — in 1:48 the parts are small, so it pays to work over a tray so that nothing disappears on you. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). They can even be painted before being cut from the casting block, which serves as a convenient handle.
