A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, in 1:48 scale. It holds finely cast recognition lights of the kind used on the underside of the fuselage of American aircraft, which replace missing or coarse plastic features of a kit.
Recognition lights served for mutual identification between aircraft and for signaling. On American machines they were usually placed on the underside of the fuselage as a group of several colored lamps.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The lights can be underpainted and coated with clear varnish for the impression of glass.
This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
