The F-4 Phantom II was a two-seat twin-engine multirole fighter and one of the most important combat aircraft of the Cold War. The F-4J version was the ultimate carrier fighter of the US Navy - it received more powerful engines, a better radar and modernized avionics. It carried air-to-air guided missiles and acted as a fighter as well as a strike aircraft from the decks of aircraft carriers. The Phantom became a symbol of the era of supersonic jet fighters and served with dozens of countries.
Assemble and paint the cockpit of both positions before closing the fuselage, and mask the cockpit glazing. Lay out the external stores and the tanks according to the scheme you choose. Use thin liquid cement on the plastic and apply a primer before painting. Spray the naval gray and white scheme or striking colored markings with an airbrush, and apply the decals onto a gloss clear coat with a decal softener. Bring out the panel lines with a dark wash and add discreet weathering of the exhausts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
