A resin detail set from the Czech maker Black Dog aimed at the engine section of a model of the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor in 1:48 scale. The set is NOT an airplane model but a collection of resin parts that replace the basic rendition of the engine and its surroundings with more faithful detail.
The V-22 Osprey is an American tiltrotor with tilting engine nacelles that can take off and land vertically like a helicopter and fly like a conventional turboprop airplane. It is operated by the US armed forces for the transport of troops and cargo and for the support of special operations.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the fit against the model before gluing. On the engine section, metallic shades, heat staining and a light accent on the accessory units all come into their own.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The airplane model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
