An accessory resin set, not an aircraft model. It brings the pilot seat of the Corsair printed by direct 3D printing, with the seat belts made as an integral part of the print, so there is no need to assemble separate straps. Fine photo-etched elements complete the package. The set is intended for models of the Vought F4U-2 Corsair fighter in 1:48 scale.
The F4U-2 was the night fighter version of the carrier-based Corsair fitted with radar, used by the US Navy in the Pacific in the Second World War. The cockpit with its characteristic seat and four-point belts is a rewarding place for detailing.
Separate the part from the print supports and wash it. It is bonded with super glue. The belts come out well once painted and gently picked out with a wash. We recommend a primer as a base and protecting your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
