A more extensive accessory set for a Westland Lynx AH.7 helicopter kit in 1:48 scale. The parts are glued with super glue; the exact make-up is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Westland Lynx AH.7 is a British army multirole helicopter. It flew transport, liaison and reconnaissance tasks and for long years it was standard equipment with the ground army. For a modeler it is attractive for the broken-up surface of the fuselage and for the striking finishes of the British units.
This is a more extensive accessory set for a Lynx helicopter kit in 1:48 scale. The exact make-up, the part numbers and which parts of the kit are removed before gluing are given in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with it.
The parts are not polystyrene, so they are not joined with cement for plastic but with super glue or epoxy. Cut the excess material and the production marks away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and carefully sand off the rest. Dry-fit the parts first and sand the seat in the kit back as needed. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap before painting and let them dry completely; a degreased surface holds primer far better.
The set suits modelers who have already worked with accessories beyond the injection-molded kit and want to raise the detail of the finished helicopter. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
