This is a detail accessory for modelers, not a kit of a vehicle. The set replaces the wheels on a model of a Soviet armored vehicle in 1:48 scale and carries the designation ZiK-1 in the name, with which the manufacturer distinguishes the particular type of wheel. The set is part of a wider range of small accessories that the same manufacturer offers in several scales, so you can get the same part for a model in another size too.
On armored vehicles the wheels are among the most conspicuous parts of a model and at the same time among the hardest to manage in injection-molded plastic. The disc is molded in two halves, so a parting line runs across it, the fine pressings are simplified and the pattern on the tire comes out shallow. A separate set gets around this problem and offers sharper edges and a more legible pattern. In 1:48 scale that shows especially, because a smaller part tolerates fewer compromises than is apparent.
Check the mating surfaces before fitting and dry-fit the wheels so that they sit in one axis and one plane. Apply the paint in thin layers, ideally with an airbrush, and set the rubber part apart with a darker and flatter tone than the disc. Only then work with accents in the recesses and with dust or mud pigments. On wheels it also pays to suggest that the lower part tends to be dirtier than the upper, and to leave a clean band where the surface is worn.
