Yak-9T 1:48 is a limited-edition plastic kit of a Soviet fighter aircraft of the Second World War with a powerful cannon on the propeller axis.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-9T fighter aircraft in 1:48 scale. This is a limited release from the SabreKits brand with quality injection-molded parts and a decal sheet of its own. The lower production run makes the model an interesting piece for collectors of Eastern Front aircraft.
The Yak-9T was the anti-tank and anti-bomber oriented version of the successful Soviet Yak-9 fighter. Its main weapon was a powerful 37 mm cannon, which fired through the propeller hub and gave the pilot great destructive power in a single well-aimed burst. The aircraft proved itself in the fighting of the Second World War on the Eastern Front, where it stood out for its agility and sound flying qualities.
Paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before you close the fuselage. Glue the parts with plastic cement and sand the joints down. Soviet fighters carry rewarding camouflage schemes, and for a clean result use a primer, thin coats of paint and settle the decals on a smooth gloss surface. You will accentuate the weathering and wear with washes and a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
