The Yugoslav M59/85 helmet in 1:48 scale, the variant marked as detail, is a small accessory for figures, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a small accessory for figures, not a kit and not a whole figure either. It brings the Yugoslav steel helmet in 1:48 scale in the version marked with the word detail; the manufacturer also makes a basic version of the same subject and further scales. What exactly the package holds is not stated here, so check the contents on the box.
The M59/85 comes from the Yugoslav pattern of the end of the 1950s, which in the middle of the 1980s received a revised liner and chin strap. The shell is deep and rounded and the transition into the short edge is smooth. The helmet was worn in the Yugoslav army and later in the armed forces of the successor states as well, so it suits figures and vehicles roughly from the 1960s to the 1990s.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, separate it from the casting block with a fine saw and level the mark with a file. Sanding is better done wet and with respiratory protection, and gluing with cyanoacrylate glue. After a thin primer apply the base shade, pull the edges out with a drybrush and pick out the transition from the shell into the edge with a fine dark wash. On the deep shape of the helmet a slight lightening of the crown looks good too.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a figure. Paints, glue and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
