Eduard Z-526 AFS (1:48), a masking set

Precisely cut self-adhesive masks in kabuki material for models of the Czechoslovak Z-526AFS Akrobat aerobatic aircraft in 1:48 scale. This is not a kit but an accessory that makes it easier to spray the frames of the glazed cockpit and other areas cleanly. The masks follow the shape of the framing, so once the paint is on and they are peeled off, the edges stay sharp and no paint has run onto the clear parts. Masks for the wheels are usually included too, so the hubs can be set apart from the tires.

Use

• Lift the individual masks off the sheet with tweezers and seat them exactly on the frames of the glazing
• Press the edges down thoroughly, so that no paint creeps under the mask
• Spray the areas with an airbrush in thin coats
• Peel the masks off shortly after the paint has dried, while they are still flexible

For modelers building the Z-526AFS Akrobat in 1:48 scale who want even framing on the cockpit without the slow cutting of masks out of tape. A less experienced modeler will manage it too.

This is an accessory to a plastic kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
