An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Zlin Z-526AFS aerobatic aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. The model offers a finely engraved surface, a detailed cockpit and faithful shapes of the slender fuselage and the wing. Eduard has worked this subject in a modern form with accuracy in mind.
The Zlin Z-526AFS Akrobat is the single-seat version of the successful family of sport and aerobatic aircraft from Zlin in Otrokovice. The AFS version had a shortened wing and fixed landing gear optimized for demanding aerobatics. Machines of this line collected successes at international aerobatic competitions and remain icons of Czechoslovak aviation to this day.
Finish and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and attach the clear canopy with canopy glue so that it does not fog. The colorful sport schemes of these aircraft come to life with an airbrush, a gloss coat under the decals and gentle polishing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
