This package from the Fujimi brand belongs to a line derived from a Japanese motoring comic of the 1970s. The name OKITA refers to one of the characters of the story and determines how the car is turned out. The scale corresponds to 1:24.
The Nissan Fairlady Z of the S30 generation appeared at the end of the 1960s and quickly earned a reputation as an accessible sports coupe with an inline six-cylinder engine, independent suspension and disc brakes at the front. In Japan it was sold under the name Fairlady Z, elsewhere as a Datsun. The comic series this edition is tied to contributed markedly to the wave of enthusiasm for sports cars in the Japan of the day, and the individual characters are firmly linked to particular types.
The body of this type has clean surfaces with no distracting creases, so it reveals every imperfection in the base. It therefore pays to spend time on sanding and on the primer. Apply the decals with their bold graphics onto a gloss surface and use a decal softener so that the film settles into the recesses. The chrome strips need only be brought out with a fine line.
This is an unassembled kit. Please add paints and tools separately, unless stated otherwise.
