A plastic kit of the Nissan Silvia of the S13 generation in 1:24 scale, in the form from the Initial D series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nissan Silvia of the S13 generation is a coupe from the end of the 1980s with the engine at the front and rear-wheel drive. It is exactly that combination, together with a balanced chassis, that made it a popular car for driving on circuits and on mountain roads alike. The name of the set links the car to the Initial D series and to the driver whose name it gives, so this is a form matching a particular car from that world.
A plastic kit in 1:24 scale to be assembled and painted. The body forms the main part, with the interior, the chassis and accessories going with it. A coupe with sharp creases is the main visible part of the model and the quality of the finish shows on it. Exactly what the package contains, including any build options, is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Separate the parts with sprue cutters a short distance from the part and sand the sprue nub down. Wash and degrease the body and paint it over a primer; the sharp creases of a coupe forgive nothing, so sanding between coats is worth it. Paint the interior separately and fit it only once it has dried. Fit the glazing at the end and glue it with a product that will not fog the clear parts.
The set will appeal to anyone interested in Japanese cars of the 1980s and 1990s and to fans of the series the form is tied to. Unless stated otherwise, the kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and other supplies are not included in the package.
