Responsibility details are not available.
The Yamato was the first ship of the class of the same name and the largest battleship ever to enter service. She carried nine guns of 46 cm caliber in three triple turrets, armor sized against fire from weapons just as heavy, and a hull with a characteristic bulbous bow. She entered service at the end of 1941 and became the flagship of the Japanese fleet. Her form from that period is interesting for collectors because the ship still carried her original secondary armament and far fewer anti-aircraft weapons than in the last years of the war.
A plastic model of a warship in the most widespread collectors' scale, 1:700. The subject measured over two hundred and sixty meters, so the finished model comes out at about thirty-seven centimeters in length. The year in the name refers to the form of the ship, not to her name. The list of parts and the range of color forms are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Work from the hull and the deck, and only then fit the superstructure, the gun turrets and the boats. Separate the thin masts and gun barrels with a sharp blade and sand the remaining material down. Spray the hull before the small equipment goes onto the deck, and apply the paint in thin coats so that the fine surface detail is not lost. The rigging can be added with fine thread on an almost finished model.
For collectors of the Japanese fleet and for anyone who wants the best-known battleship of the Second World War in a display case. The kit is supplied unassembled; paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
