A kit of the battleship Kongo in her state of 1941 in 1:700 scale. A special version with a full hull; the name gives etched parts as well.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic model of the Japanese battleship Kongo from the brand Fujimi. The name of the item determines the state of the vessel as of the year 1941, the version with the whole hull and a special edition supplemented with etched parts. These are used in modeling where injection-molded plastic could not be thin enough, that is above all for railings, gratings and aerials.
The Kongo came about before the First World War in a British yard and remained the only large Japanese surface unit built abroad. In the 1920s and 1930s she went through two fundamental rebuilds, after which she was a fast battleship able to keep pace with carrier forces. Eight guns of 356 millimeters caliber were complemented by a markedly reworked superstructure.
Cut the photo-etch on a hard board with a sharp knife, not with scissors, otherwise the edge will ripple. Make the bends over a metal rule and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pin. Fit the railings only after the hull has been painted; it is simpler to spray them separately beforehand. Degrease the metal before varnishing, otherwise the paint holds badly.
The goods are unassembled and without a surface finish. Paints, glue and accessories do not belong to them, unless stated otherwise.
