This resin set of wheels replaces the landing gear wheels on models of the British reconnaissance aircraft English Electric Canberra PR.9 in 1:72 scale. The wheels have a fine relief of the tire and the disc and as a rule a realistic flattening at the point of contact, which gives the model a true stance on a surface. It is an accessory, not a model of an airplane.
The Canberra PR.9 was the high-altitude photographic reconnaissance version of the British jet bomber Canberra, in service with the Royal Air Force for long decades. Landing gear with well-executed wheels is among the details that raise the realistic impression of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Take care over the correct orientation of the flattening toward the ground. Do the sanding with protection of your breathing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the basic model are not included in the package.
