1:72 Paint mask P-40N Warhawk is a masking set for the model of the late version of the American Curtiss P-40 fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
What you get is a set of masks that protects the glazing and the unpainted areas during painting. It is not a kit and you will find no plastic parts in it. The reward for a few minutes of work with tweezers is accurate frames and straight boundaries of the camouflage fields, which are hard to achieve with a brush alone and only with a great deal of patience.
The Warhawk was among the most widespread American fighters of the first war years. The N rendition came about as a lightened and faster one and you will recognize it by the lowered fuselage decking behind the cockpit, which improved the view to the rear. The engine was liquid-cooled and carried the characteristic radiator under the nose, which gave the aircraft its unmistakable silhouette known from countless photographs.
Remove the grease from the glazing before applying the masks, otherwise the shapes will not seat. Press the edges down with a blunt stick and spray the paint perpendicular from above. If you plan to bring out the camouflage fields, work from the light shade toward the dark one. As soon as the surface stops being tacky, peel the strips off carefully and do not polish the finished cockpit needlessly. Remains of the finish on the glass come off better with a dampened wooden stick than with a scraper.
