An accessory set for the armored personnel carrier OT-64 in 1:72 scale from Armour Models. It makes the details of the model of the well known eight-wheeled vehicle more accurate.

The set is intended for builders who want to improve a small model of the OT-64 carrier. In 1:72 scale it is fine work, but the difference tends to be all the greater on the finished piece. The Armour Models brand stands behind the set.
The eight-wheeled amphibious carrier came about in a joint Czechoslovak-Polish program at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. Against the Soviet competition it offered an enclosed hull compartment, diesel propulsion and good mobility over terrain. The vehicle saw a whole range of modifications, from command versions to turret carriers, and its silhouette is among the best known from the armament of the former Warsaw Pact.
First try dry where each part belongs, and only then reach for the glue. Prepare the small components on a piece of cardboard so that they do not get lost, and while cutting keep the knife away from the direction of your fingers. It is more comfortable to paint before the final seating.
Look at period photographs of the vehicle you want to build, because the individual series differed in the equipment on the hull and in the arrangement of the hatches. The smallest components moreover easily fall into the carpet, so it is sensible to work over a light mat with a low rim.
