This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK contains main wheels with tires combining a diamond and hole tread pattern for the Curtiss P-40 fighter from the Special Hobby kits in 1:72 scale. The hubs are cast separately and the set offers two forms, with and without hub caps. The wheels replace the simpler plastic parts and refine the look of the landing gear.
The parts are cast from modeling resin with fine detail. Before gluing, wash them free of mold release agent residue, cut them off the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. The separate hubs make painting the tires and the rims easier.
The set contains resin parts only. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
