1:48 Hawker Hurricane Mk.II over Western Europe is a set of waterslide decals from DK Decals with markings for Hurricane Mk.II fighters over Western Europe in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set brings waterslide decals in 1:48 scale with a selection of camouflage and color schemes for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.II fighter operating over Western Europe. The larger scale pays off especially with the national markings and the individual codes, which come into their own in detail.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.II was a more powerful developed version of the British fighter, used in the fighter as well as the attack role. The set offers several different camouflage schemes of machines from various RAF squadrons, including aircraft with a Czechoslovak connection. The exact breakdown of the markings, the national markings and the individual codes are given in the enclosed instructions.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss varnish to prevent silvering. Soak the motif in lukewarm water for a few seconds, slide it into place and blot off the excess water. A decal softener helps the decal bed into the detail; once dry, seal it with clear varnish to the level of gloss you want.
This is a set of decals, not a kit. The model itself and paints are not included in the package.
