1:48 Westland Lysander Mk.I/Mk.III TFace are double-sided Eduard masks for a model of the British liaison aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eduard cut this set for a model of the British liaison aircraft and it deals with its glazing from both sides. According to the name it covers the Mk.I and the Mk.III versions, so it suits both forms of the subject.
The Lysander was a slow high-wing aircraft with fixed landing gear that could land and take off on a short strip. That is exactly why it became the night courier of the British secret service: in dark paint it carried agents into occupied Europe and brought them back again. The cabin is glazed along its whole length and the frames are long and upright, so masking takes more time than on a fighter.
First the frame from the inside in the cockpit shade, then the outer side. With a dark night finish it pays to lay gray underneath, because pure black swallows all the shape. Leave the shapes in place right through the painting, including the gloss coat under the decals, and lift them off carefully along the edge of the frame. Finish the struts and the boarding step with a brush; the mask will not reach those places anyway. Extensive glazing also takes a light misting with a dirty color well, mainly on the lower part of the frame.
Do not look for the aircraft itself or paints here.
