This accessory is a set of resin, directly 3D printed exhaust stacks with fishtail shaped outlets (three-stacks fishtail) for the Spitfire Mk.V fighter in 1:72 scale. It is a replacement detail from the Brassin range, not an aircraft kit. The fishtail version differs from the one with rounded outlets.
Exhausts with the characteristic flat fishtail outlets are a conspicuous feature on the fuselage beside the engine. The 3D printed stacks have open outlets and thin walls that cannot be made in plastic, and once painted they bring the engine section markedly to life.
Clean the parts, separate them from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend dark metallic shades with a brownish and rusty cast and fine pigments. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The package contains the resin accessory only. Paints, glue and the base model are not included.
