The set brings 200 miniature screws with a large raised cylindrical head and a straight slot, that is the type of fastening with which bodywork panels, covers and fender flares are fixed on a real car. The slot is printed sharply, so once painted it looks like a real screw and not like a dot. It is not a kit but a stock of details for models you are building or improving.
The package contains four sizes of 50 pieces each: 1.75 mm, 2 mm, 2.25 mm and 2.5 mm. Such a range covers the usual needs of car and motorcycle models in 1:24 scale, where screw heads are clearly visible on the hood, the wheel arch and the frame.
The elements are made by 3D printing from resin. Cut them off their support with a sharp scalpel, level the base with a fine file and glue them with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. A heavy primer would clog the fine slot, so paint with a thin coat. When you draw a dark wash into the slot once it has dried, the screw gains depth. You will make the work markedly easier with tweezers with fine tips.
The set is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
