An add-on set of the LooKplus line for the Bf 109G-6 model in 1:72 scale. It brings finished parts that replace sections of the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Bf 109G-6 was the most numerously built variant of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter. You can recognize it by the bulged covers in front of the cabin, which the heavier synchronized guns above the engine called for. This is also the version most often released as a kit, so it pays to reach for accessories for it.
Finished add-on parts from the LooKplus line, intended for the model of this type in 1:72 scale. The exact list of the contents and the places where the individual parts belong are given in the maker's instructions, so go through them before you set about the build. The parts replace sections of the kit, so it is good to think the order of work through in advance.
Start with a dry fit. It will tell you how much plastic has to be taken off the kit part for the new part to sit in place. Remove the material in small steps and keep testing, because plastic once taken off cannot be put back. If the parts are not made of polystyrene, cement for plastic will not work on them; in that case they are glued with a minute amount of cyanoacrylate. Before painting, wash them in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry. The specific procedure and which parts need no further treatment are given in the maker's instructions.
The set suits a modeler who wants to move an ordinary Bf 109G-6 kit up a level without laborious modifications made by hand. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the package unless stated otherwise.
