New Ware supplies a sheet of laser-cut masks cut for the three versions of the British fighter named in the product title. The scope matches the basic level of coverage. The target kit is the one from Hobby Boss.
The Hurricane Mk.I carried the main weight of the Battle of Britain and was credited with more kills in it than all the other British types together. The antitank Mk.IID variant was given a pair of large-caliber cannon under the wing and became famous for attacks on columns in North Africa. Old-fashioned construction helped the airframe: a tubular frame and the fabric covering of the rear fuselage took hits that would have brought an all-metal machine down, and ground crews managed field repairs in a single day.
The basic level aims at the transparent parts and the wheel discs. On this fighter that means above all the sliding canopy and the windscreen, that is the places where straight tape bends badly and hand-cut pieces never come out the same twice. On the wheels a mask helps to keep a clean transition between disc and tire.
You will find a sheet of masks in the package and nothing more.
Kabuki paper holds its shape even on curved surfaces and leaves no adhesive when taken off. Peel it away before the paint has fully hardened, though, otherwise it will take the edge of the paint with it.
