The white rendition of the 15 cm motif with the outline of the L-29 Delfin. It suits everywhere a dark drawing would be lost, that is on black paint, dark metal or a tinted surface.
The design of the Delfin staked everything on being undemanding. The engine from a domestic maker drew air through side inlets on the flanks of the fuselage, the tail surfaces took a T shape so that they stayed clear of the exhaust stream, and the sturdy landing gear managed grass and sandy surfaces with no paved runway. The cockpits of the pupil and the instructor sat one behind the other, the rear one a good deal higher. It was precisely this lack of demands and this toughness that kept the aircraft in service for decades, and in places it still flies today in private hands.
A light print is laid on a deeply dark surface with no texture. Before working, clean the surface and clear it of grease, or the adhesive will not take along the whole length of the outline. Lay it on at room temperature and from one edge to the other. If the motif settles crooked, take it off at once, while the adhesive has not yet set.
The dark counterpart of the same drawing is sold as a separate item. Both variants are the same size and differ only in color, so all that decides is how dark the chosen surface is.
