AML 1:72 resin fishtail exhaust for the Bell P-39 Airacobra Mk.I

This resin accessory (not a kit) in 1:72 scale from AML refines the engine section of a model of the Bell P-39 Airacobra Mk.I fighter with exhaust stubs of the fishtail shape. It was exactly this type of exhaust that was typical of early Airacobras, and the fine castings carry detail that injection-molded plastic captures with difficulty in this scale.

Use

• Wash the mold release off the parts and gently cut off the casting blocks.
• Sand the marks left by the supports with respiratory protection.
• Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) into the prepared openings in the model.
• Darkening the shade and light weathering from the exhaust gases are advisable.
