A pair of Allied tank crewmen in 1:35 scale is offered by the Tank Crew set from the French brand Dynamo Models, which designs its figures digitally. Both resin figures have two interchangeable heads each, so with each one separately you can choose the American or the French execution, or combine both forms in one scene.
Two figures side by side work differently from one: the viewer looks for a relationship between them, which is why their placement decides the impression of the whole scene. The Allied armored units of 1944 mixed American gear with French wearers so much that a mixed crew is not the author's license but a documented commonplace, and it is exactly this situation that the choice of heads lets you put on the table.
First just stand the figures on your work surface and try various turns; only then glue. The gaze of one of them should lead the eye to the other or to the hardware, otherwise the scene looks accidental. When painting, it pays to give each figure a slightly different shade of coveralls, because in reality the clothing faded differently and a pair in the same color looks artificial.
Both figures are unpainted and waiting for your brushes.
