A former Israeli machine in the role of the opponent: masks for the aggressor finish of the F-16A of the Top Aces company in 1:48 scale. The sheets carry the camouflage pattern, red stars, lettering on the fin and the markings of three aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
Former Israeli F-16As, which in the Israeli Air Force were called Netz, were given a second life with the private operator Top Aces. It plays the role of the enemy with them in the training of American crews, and that is why it had them repainted into a striking aggressor scheme. This set brings the whole finish on two sheets of fine masking tape.
Besides the camouflage pattern you will find red stars, lettering in a Cyrillic-style stylization on the vertical tail surface and the emblem of the operator. The red stars are placed exactly where the machines used to carry the Israeli insignia, that is, in the middle of the upper surface of the wing. The marking is only on the upper part of the airframe and on the fin. The registrations of three particular aircraft are added.
The task of an aggressor unit is to imitate the opponent as faithfully as possible, and not only in flight procedures but in appearance as well. A striking finish helps the training crews in recognition and at the same time makes judging the distance and position of the machine harder. That is precisely why schemes appear with adversary units that would make no sense with a combat squadron.
Paints, glue and plastic parts are not included.
