A 3D printed resin set of landing gear wheels for models of the Soviet variable-geometry fighter-bomber Su-17/22 in 1:48 scale. The wheels have a faithfully rendered tire tread and detailed hubs that replace the simplified plastic parts from the box.
On a standing model the landing gear wheels are permanently in view. Accurately printed tires and rims lift the overall impression considerably, especially once realistic weighting and dusting have been added.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, wash them and clean up the mating surfaces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Painting the tires matte and adding light dusting near the contact patch is recommended.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
