The single resin figure French Commando Kieffer Marching No.2 in 1:48 scale captures a French commando of the summer of 1944 and comes to be assembled.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second figure of the marching line stands leaning slightly forward with a load on its back, the way you walk after long hours on your feet. It was printed by a resin printer, which shows in the fine seams and the small buckles of the equipment. The bag holds a single print still on its supports, with no paint and no base.
Kieffer's battalion landed on the eastern flank of the Allied line and spent the first hours at the fortified points of the town of Ouistreham. The hardest objective proved to be the former casino, converted into a concrete strongpoint, which the commandos only overcame with the help of armored support. In the afternoon the unit set off inland toward the bridges over the River Orne and the Caen Canal, where British paratroopers had been holding positions since the night. The advance along the canal cost the battalion appreciable losses as early as the morning of the first day.
Wash the print in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let it dry out completely; on a greasy surface the paint will not take. Try the fit of the parts dry and only then join them. Build the uniform up from the darker tone toward lighter edges, so that the small figure does not lose its relief under a layer of paint.
Get the glue and the paints separately.
