The regiment is one of the three ground formations of the French special forces brigade and comes under the joint special operations command, which together numbers around three thousand people. That explains why its members turn up in the same scenes as airmen, signalers and the crews of light vehicles; the figure therefore works well in a group, not only on its own.
The figure is printed from resin by the French brand BlackSnake Model, which handles the whole procedure from design to finished piece itself. The set holds one soldier in 1:35 scale, in a raw state with no paint and with no additional parts. Short production runs also bring the advantage that the fineness of the surface is not limited by wear on a mold.
Check whether an oily film is left on the casting; if it is, washing in lukewarm water solves the problem. Line the joints of the arms up dry and fill any gap with a thicker super glue and an activator, as putty for plastic is not needed here. Paint the helmet and the vest separately from the body; access to the detail is then incomparably more comfortable and there is no risk of wiping a fresh layer off while turning it.
The soldier comes unassembled and with no paint; you arrange the other materials yourself.
