A stand-alone collector's figure in 1:35 scale from the workshop of the manufacturer BlackSnake Model. It is cast in fine modeling resin with sharp definition of the uniform and a natural pose. It is not a model of a gun but a single figure of an artillery fire commander for a diorama or a scene with a gun crew.
The figure represents a French fire commander (chef de tir), that is, the man directing the work of the crew at an artillery piece. The pose with a commanding gesture is conceived to give the scene action and to be completed by further members of the crew around the gun. The figure wears a period French uniform and equipment.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces down. Fill the seams and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Lay down a primer before painting; work the uniform in acrylic or oil with a wash into the folds, and the face and hands in layered skin tones. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
