This resin detail set from the Czech brand LZ models brings precisely cast chain drive wheels for the Ward LaFrance M1 heavy wrecker in 1:35 scale. It is an upgrade set that replaces the corresponding parts of the base model of the wrecker and improves the accuracy of the drivetrain.
The Ward LaFrance M1 was an American heavy wrecker of the Second World War, with chain drive to the rear axles on part of the production run as its characteristic feature. It was used for towing, repairs and the recovery of damaged vehicles in the field.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up; they are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before gluing, check that the wheels are correctly oriented and line up with the chassis of the model. A primer, an airbrush and weathering with washes and pigments all work well here.
