1:32 Fw 190 D-11/13 masks for crosses is a set of self-adhesive templates for spraying national insignia onto a large model of the long-nosed Focke-Wulf.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a masking set, not a model kit of the aircraft. The pre-cut templates are stuck onto a finished paint coat and the insignia are then sprayed with paint directly onto the surface of the airframe. The designation in the product name says that the cut follows the shapes and dimensions of the insignia carried by the late D-11 and D-13 versions. How many pieces the sheet contains does not follow from the name.
The Fw 190 D arose by converting the radial-engined Focke-Wulf to the inline liquid-cooled Junkers Jumo 213. The aircraft thereby got a lengthened nose and tail, and from its crews the nickname Dora. The D-11 and D-13 versions appeared only in the very last stage of the war in negligible numbers and differed from the more common machines in the composition of their armament; the D-13 carried a cannon firing along the axis of the propeller spinner. They are rewarding subjects precisely because so few of them were built.
Let the surface underneath cure properly, otherwise the paint below will peel off with the template when it is lifted. Press the edges down with a toothpick or a piece of tissue so that no mist creeps under them, and spray in several light coats. Remove the template at a shallow angle while the coat is still fresh.
Neither paints nor the aircraft itself are supplied with this item; the set covers solely the application of the insignia.
