This resin kit in 1:100 scale from the maker Zebrano captures the Italian Carro Veloce L3/38 tankette armed with a Breda machine gun. The small scale makes it an ideal addition to group scenes and collections of armor. The castings are meant for modelers who have experience of working with resin.
The L3 family of light tankettes (Carro Veloce CV 33 and 35) was among the most numerous Italian armored vehicles of the interwar era and was deployed in the first years of the Second World War as well. The L3/38 version represented a later stage of development with modified running gear and machine gun armament. The two-man crew and the thin armor matched the original purpose of reconnaissance and infantry escort.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand them back with your breathing protected. Glue the joints with superglue (cyanoacrylate) and lay down a primer before painting. Sand and gray-green shades suit Italian equipment, and a small scale rewards a fine accent on the panels with a wash and dust pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
