A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale for the Henschel Hs 126 reconnaissance aircraft of the B version in markings from the Eastern Front. Intended as an accessory to a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Henschel Hs 126 belonged to the observation and reconnaissance machines of the Luftwaffe from the beginning of the Second World War. Its wing was carried above the fuselage on struts, its landing gear was fixed and an observer sat in the open rear cabin. The B version was the main production series and differed from the A version in its powerplant; here too it was a radial piston engine. The machines worked above all for the ground units: they watched the battlefield, photographed and directed artillery fire. In the later years more modern types gradually took their place in this role.
The sheet in 1:72 scale carries markings for the Hs 126 of the B version from the Eastern Front. It is an accessory to a kit and holds neither the parts of a model nor its building set. The number of machines covered and the exact placement of the individual elements on a model are given in the instructions, which are part of the package.
A decal holds best on a smooth glossy base, so varnish the surface with gloss varnish in advance. Cut the element off as close to the printing as possible, soak it briefly in lukewarm water and let it rest until it begins to slide on the backing. Slide it onto the dampened place, line it up with tweezers and press the water out from underneath with a soft paper. On rivets and pressed detail use a softener, so that the film follows the shape. Once it has dried, varnish it over and check the exact procedure in the instructions in the package.
It suits modelers who want to build the aircraft in the eastern variant of service. The subject of sale is the sheet of decals; the kit, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
