The BMW i7 xDrive60 in a two-color form, white Alpine White combined with the black Black Sapphire shade, 1:64 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The joining of the white Alpine White paint with the deep black Black Sapphire belongs to the two-tone treatments that customers order for large limousines through the program of individual colors. The dividing line runs below the swage line along the whole length of the flank, the lower part stays dark and the upper one light. The car thereby visually sits lower and the long overhangs look shorter than they really are.
The G70 generation has been on sale since the end of 2022 and its battery branch carries the i7 designation. The xDrive60 suffix means drive to both axles and an output such that a five-meter limousine gets to one hundred kilometers per hour in under five seconds. The rear passengers have a fold-down projection screen across the whole width of the roof at their disposal, and doors that close by themselves.
The transition between the two shades is printed sharply and without overlaps, which with two-color paints in this size is not a matter of course. The side windows are edged by a plated frame, the kidney grilles have an insert of their own and the rear lamps are a clear part with a detailed inside. The chassis is plastic and carries the description of the car.
The casting is finished and calls for no extra work. It is supplied in a rigid box with a cut-out, in which it survives even postal transport without harm. Anyone who collects present-day luxury sedans will stand it next to equally large cars of competing marques with no difference in proportions. The packaging is uniform for the whole line, so the boxes can be stacked on one another in a collection.
