A collector's model of the road-going Maserati MC12 in a blue form, 1:64 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Maserati MC12 is a car that came about because of racing. So that the marque could put a machine into the endurance competitions of GT cars, it had to build a series of road examples as well, and it is precisely those that carry the Stradale designation. Technically they are based on the Ferrari Enzo: in the middle is a twelve-cylinder in a V of six liters, the body stands on a carbon structure and the roof above the crew's heads can be taken off. The Maserati was given a shape of its own, though, markedly longer than the donor, with a drawn-out rear and a massive wing, which together measure over five meters. White and blue are among the colors the car is most often associated with.
The model is a finished collector's item in 1:64 in a blue form. A car over five meters long comes out of it at eight centimeters, so in a collection of cars of the same scale it is conspicuously longer than most of the others.
In a display case it is worth standing the MC12 next to another car of the same scale, so that its length comes out. Sweep dust off with a soft brush and wipe fingerprints off with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid solvents, window cleaners and a damp rag; the paint and the fine printing are sensitive to them. Direct sunlight draws the colors out in time.
For collectors of endurance and homologation cars in 1:64 and for anyone who likes machines on the boundary between the road and the circuit. A display case and a base are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
