The Chevrolet Silverado with dual rear wheels and flames along the flanks. The second version of the Kaido House conversion in 1:64.
Responsibility details are not available.
The English word dually means a pickup with four wheels on the rear axle. The widened rear fenders the vehicle was given for that reason give it a typically straddled stance, and in America it is the recognition mark of towing and working versions. The model carries this feature faithfully over into a small scale as well, including the pairs of wheels on each side.
Instead of the lettering of a service firm, the vehicle was given classic hot rod flames on its nose and flanks, that is a motif that has held on in American conversion culture since the 1950s. The combination of a working chassis and show graphics is exactly the game the Kaido House workshop builds its scenes from a Japanese garage on.
The casting is metal, the front hood opens and under it is a modeled engine compartment. The interior is inserted separately, the glazing is clear, the tires rubber and the chassis carries a plated finish. The goods arrive finished and painted in a firm cardboard box with a window. The flames are printed, not applied as decals, so they create no step at the edges. Pickups with doubled rear wheels appear only rarely in this scale; most collector's lines stay with an ordinary single axle.
