A modeling paint from the IONIC line by AMMO of Mig Jimenez, a light blue shade under the name Ice Blue.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single modeling paint from the IONIC line by AMMO of Mig Jimenez. The shade carries the name Ice Blue, that is, an icy blue: a light cool tone with a cast toward gray-green. The final impression is affected by the color underneath, so try the tone on a spare part before you start on the model.
In a reduced scale every shade looks darker than you know it from reality, so a light blue is often a good choice even where you would expect a more saturated tone. On large areas, let a sample dry and judge it in daylight.
Light cool blues are used on the upper surfaces of fuselages and on aircraft undersides, on ice and winter sceneries, on glass and vision ports, on lit elements of vehicles and on fantasy subjects. They also serve well for brightening darker blues and for suggesting light on edges where a pure white would look too hard.
Choose the thinner according to the manufacturer's instructions and use the one intended for this line; the ratio differs with the tool and with the temperature in the workshop. Light shades usually have weaker covering power, so count on more coats and on applying them over a light surface. Keep the coats thin and let them dry properly. Wash and degrease the surface before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on a smooth surface.
This is one paint, not a set. The thinner, primer, varnish and brushes are not included, unless stated otherwise.
