A precisely cast resin set of engine intake covers (FOD covers) for a model of the Dassault Mirage III fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that is fitted to the intakes of a parked aircraft and brings a ramp scene to life. Intended for Mirage III models, and specifically for the Eduard kit.
The Dassault Mirage III was a French single-seat supersonic fighter with a characteristic delta wing, used from the 1960s by a number of air forces. On the ground the intake covers were fitted into the side engine intakes to keep foreign objects from being drawn in (FOD).
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The covers are usually painted a bright warning color; they suit a model displayed on a ramp with ground equipment.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
