An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter. You build one model from the package, with a choice between the Mk.V and the Mk.IX version. The set is focused on the theme of aces and brings a richer decal sheet with the schemes of aircraft flown by well-known Royal Air Force pilots.
The Spitfire is among the most famous fighters of the Second World War and became renowned during the Battle of Britain. The Mk.V version became one of the most widespread variants, and the later Mk.IX with its more powerful Merlin 61 engine was able to face the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 as well. Both types flew with a number of Allied squadrons across the European and Mediterranean battlefields.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the interior before closing the fuselage. Use a thin cement for plastic and treat the surface with a primer. Before applying the decals, lay a gloss coat on the places where the markings go, and once dry unify the surface with a matte or semi-gloss coat according to the look you want.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
