New Ware MiG-21 F-13 BASIC kabuki masks 1:48 are die-cut kabuki templates for spraying the cockpit, the transparent parts and the wheels of a model of the early Soviet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masking templates in kabuki paper (washi tape) in 1:48 scale by New Ware. The BASIC range covers the outside of the canopy and the windscreen, the other transparent parts and the wheels. The templates are die-cut to the shape of the parts of a model of the early MiG-21 fighter in the F-13 version.
The MiG-21 F-13 (Fishbed-C under the NATO code) was one of the first production versions of the Soviet supersonic MiG-21 fighter, from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. It was a day frontline fighter with a delta wing, a single-seat cockpit and an armament completed by short-range guided missiles. The aircraft became one of the most widespread jet fighters of its era.
Degrease the transparent parts first. Move the masks with tweezers, press them against the frames and spray over them with an airbrush, ideally with the interior shade first and then the final color. Mask the areas between the die-cut parts with scraps of tape. Take the masks off while the paint is freshly dried.
This is a masking set, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
