A 1:72 masking set for the MiG-19 P and PM at the EXPERT level is an accessory for a kit; it contains pre-cut masks, not parts of the model.

The set contains pre-cut self-adhesive masks for a MiG-19 model in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit; the masks are applied to a finished, assembled model before painting and are cut for the kit, that is, for the Clear Prop kit. The EXPERT designation is the widest level in the range of the Czech maker New Ware: beyond the basic masking of the glazing it also covers the other areas that are masked on the model.
The MiG-19 was a Soviet supersonic fighter of the 1950s with two turbojet engines and a swept wing. The P and PM versions belonged to the family of interceptors fitted with an onboard radar; the PM version moved away from cannon armament in favor of guided missiles. The type spread to other armies as well and in Czechoslovakia it was one of the well-known air defense machines. The model of the aircraft has intricate canopy glazing and a number of clearly visible panels, so there is plenty for masks to do on it.
Apply the masks only to a finished surface that has been sanded and cleared of dust. Degrease the glazing beforehand, either with plain soapy water or with a mild cleaner without an aggressive solvent. Lift the parts with tweezers and press them down with a blunt tip, so that the edge of the mask does not stand proud anywhere. If you are masking flat areas for a two-color scheme as well, always fix the edge of the mask first with a thin coat of the underlying color: paint will not creep under a thin coat. Spray perpendicular to the edge, not at an angle under the mask. Take them off once the paint has become tacky, pulling back over itself rather than straight away from the surface.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, which it does not contain. Paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
